Designed to handle virtually all your lifting, suspending and positioning applications up to 2,000 lbs., Ingersoll-Rand pneumatic balancers are found throughout global industry because of their outstanding productivity, cost, and ergonomics. The simple design is virtually maintenance free, features variable speed up to 200 feet per minutes, can handle the range of approximately 10 different spring balancers, features a continuous duty rating cycle, runs oil / lube free and consumes only 1/8 cfm of air per cycle (50x less than an air hoist). Pneumatic balancers are available in 5 standard capacities: 50lb, 150lb, 200lb, 350lb, & 500lb with 3 different control options. The standard units can be reeved and tandem reeved to handle both single and variable load applications to 2,000 lbs..

Features

  • Suspension kits

    Suspension kits are available for virtually all enclosed track manufacturers as well as I-Beam, Patent track, and hook mount. Please specify with order.

  • Standard overload protection

    The load being lifted can never exceed the unit’s maximum rated capacity at a given air pressure

  • Standard emergency cable retract brake

    If the load is accidentally lost, a spring loaded centrifugal brake automatically stops the rapid upward cable travel.

  • Optional down stop

    Eliminates the down-drift of suspended loads within 6 inches if air supply is shut down.

  • Cable travel

    Length of rope up to 30 ft with cable travel up to 120 inches depending on model and configuration.

  • Safety

    If the air supply is ever interrupted the unit will maintain the load in the suspended position.

  • Servo Assist

    Inherent frinction within the balancer is 10% of a load, the Z-Servo control addresses this issue by amplifying inputs and reducing the effort to move the load to 3-5% of the load. The servo control is supplied as standard on all BA balancers over 200 lbs.
